This wiki is intended to show my experiences and reflections on using and working with technology in the classroom. The first three pages are reflections on various technology related videos and websites.

The main content of the wiki is a project targeted for third through fifth grade students built around a webquest titled "Back from the Brink of Extinction". I created the webquest and then integrated a variety of technology for both the teachers teaching the project and the students who would be completing it. The technology used includes: the Inspirations mapping program, a free webquestcreation page called zunal.com, the presentation program Prezi, a survey using Google Docs, and Photo Story, a Microsoft program.

As a way to summarize and evaluate the knowledge the students gained during the project, I developed a lesson plan using the Smartboard and Senteo response devices for assessment.

My last page is a description of my Personal Learning Network with a Inspirations graphic organizer. The PLN includes links to any available websites I regularly use for information and research.

During this Integrating Technology class, I have learned many computer applications that I was completely unaware of. Most of them were extremely user friendly and if they weren't, it was nice to have the option to use something else. The best part of this class is that I can use what I learned to help teachers develop better, more engaging and productive lessons for our students.
